Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 Std 10 User CALs

To deploy Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 in the company, you need a license for each operating system instance in which Exchange is installed. To access Exchange you need an access license (standard CAL). The Enterprise CAL is an add-on to the standard CAL and extends the software with additional functions. You can license the CALs according to users (User-CAL) or devices (Device-CAL). This license type requires a CAL for each user or device accessing the server software.

The Exchange Server 2016 Standard CALs are designed to increase the productivity of users on virtually any platform, browser, or mobile device. The features of Exchange Server 2016 help users to be more productive wherever they are, and at the same time help to protect your organization's data. To enable the default CAL functions for a user, the user must be licensed with the Standard CAL.

The following functions are available with the Exchange Server 2016 Standard CAL:

• E-mail, calendars, and tasks
• Outlook on the Web (support for Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Edge)
• Apps for Outlook and Outlook on the Web
• Website mailboxes
• Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Features
• Journaling: Per database
• Retention Policies: Standard and Custom
• Search in several mailboxes

This Microsoft Exchange Server 2016 Standard User CAL package contains ten User CALs that give exactly ten users access to the Exchange Server. The User CAL model is particularly useful when a user needs to gain access to the server through multiple devices, such as a desktop PC, laptop, or tablet.
